One day while my mother was out enjoying the beautiful California weather and shopping at a convention, she came across a booth that was selling jewellery unlike any she had ever seen before. Not only was the jewellery spectacular but the ladies selling the jewellery were incredibly nice and very well informed. In a very short amount of time a friendship was forged and my mother needed another jewellery box.

When my mom got home she couldn’t wait to tell us about her “find” and the incredible friends she had made. The best part was that Nanci, Lady Jayne’s creator, was coming to Canada. We would meet her and see her unique, personally designed line of jewellery.

The day finally came when Nanci arrived in town and I had the opportunity to enjoy the experience myself. I have to admit I was a little bit sceptical over my mother’s excitement for the jewellery. That all changed when I saw it in person. Each piece is gorgeous to wear separately but when I discovered I could create combinations unique to my own style I was hooked. The difficult part was picking which pieces I most wanted. With over 650 charms to choose from and the collection continually growing, it was a fun task to select my own collection. Not only was the jewellery fun but Nanci made it easy and enjoyable to create my look. The best part is that pieces can continually be added to change things up a bit or just add the new color of the season.

From that very first meeting with Nanci, I knew she had something special. Never before had I seen any jewellery like this. This unique idea for jewellery includes quality second to none, incredible selection and no worries about an allergic reaction as all the jewellery is nickel free. I knew then that I had to be a part of the Lady Jayne team. Later that evening, a dinner meeting with Nanci…and as they say, the rest is history. I wanted to share this discovery with Canadians and as such have started Lady Jayne of Canada Ltd.

Since that first meeting, I have been to New York State to see the operation first hand. Nanci and I have forged a wonderful relationship. We have become fast friends and have established a tremendous business relationship. Nanci, as always, is the owner, designer, creator, be all of Lady Jayne Ltd. I have established the Canadian arm of Lady Jayne and work directly with Nanci. I am now involved in helping with new designs and ideas. My creative side has found an outlet and Nanci is thrilled to have a collaborator! Not only are we bringing the already fantastic line to you, we are ready to introduce many items unique to Canada.
